The reconversion of buildings for new usage and functions or update of their components are frequent needs nowadays.

Reconversion is an instrument that contributes to the maintenance of a collective memory, where it can be transported into the future. In this sense, the reconversion of buildings to new uses allows intervention in the built heritage, allowing the reuse of old built structures in today’s society and, if the reuse of a space means to carry out works of contemporary profile complying with a series of requirements stipulated by the legal rules of use, it is necessary to consider how the new structures are conjugated with the old ones, to carry out the reconversion of buildings for new uses.

For this reason, PGG carries out interventions ranging from the structural reinforcement to the implementation of new systems of facilities and accessibility, according to the needs of each project.
